Here is some character drawing art work I use as stocks to create other artwork so that I don't have to start from stretch with every piece of artwork I create.

A stylized portrait of me

A simple picture of a winter night

This picture, as you can tell from the title, was meant to be the background of a webpage. However, I abandoned that idea when I realized how difficult it would be to make that design fluid and that the design itself wasn't appropriate for what I wanted to do anyway. it would probably be a much better image for a poster or an ad. This image is made with blends and intersecting geometric shapes.

A cartoon picture of a teenaged girl with red hair and brown eyes This is a picture of a thirteen year old girl. I have yet to draw a scene with her in it. this picture was created on the 23rd of April 2009
A teenaged hoverboarder This picture was created on May 4th 2009. I have yet to find a good scene to put this one into mainly because I have yet to draw a skateboarding/hoverboarding scene. I am not good at drawing motion so it may take some time.
A picture of a dark skinned teen This picture was created May 13 2009. I liked the fact that Illustrator allowed for a seamless drawing of curved lines and had a larger color pallet I took advantage of both in this picture along with different brush strokes.
A picture of a tough looking teen

this picture was created on the 22 of April 2009.

The patterning on her clothes was a challenge to do as I was at the time transitioning to Illustrator from MS Paint and was still expecting Illustrator to be advanced Paint.

I recently added the hooded cloak. I did the patterning in for the cloak in Paint then imported it as a swatch in Illustrator because, for me, Paint's better at that than Illustrator.
