A black and white picture of a train platform

A picture of Downtown Calgary with an old building and a street in focus

This is a Picture of Downtown Calgary. I find the juxtaposition of old and new, shown here, quite compelling. I find it a great snapshot of a city scene as well. I had originally just meant to take a picture of the of tower however I got the surrounding street as well which improves the picture.

me taking a picture of a imitation mehndi

This is a picture I took of designs I drew on my left hand with a pen. the designs were roughly based on the designs I saw on the cover of the book by Kashmira Sheth Koyal Dark Mango Sweet I took this picture standing in front of a mirror and pointing a camera at the reflection, after I took the image I darkened part of the image to make some of the colors look less washed out and with the help of my instructor adjusted the levels on one part of the image so the bright spot did not wash out part of the designs. I also cropped a part of the image. I find mehndi designs especially the complex ones beautiful and fascinating.
